Chapter 2 (A Stroke of Heaven and Earth)

Early the next morning, Ye Su walked to the Cangdian Pavilion, which was one of her daily routines.

Qianji sect is poor, but barely considered a great sect, and it has everything it should have. The Cangdian Pavilion has a full five floors, which are basically all about secret books about refining weapons.

Just as Ye Su stepped into the gate of the Cangdian Pavilion, a hoarse and rough voice came from the side: "The foundation has been established."

She turned her head and saw a thin man with short hair pushing a cart of books with one arm. It was Yu Fenghai, the gatekeeper of Cangdian Pavilion.

This gatekeeper is more experienced than the head of sect. According to rumors, his realm is as high as the late stage of fusion. He was guarding the gate of the Cangdian Pavilion more than 500 years ago. Because he is here, no one dares to attack Qianji sect Cangdian Pavilion.

But her master said that Yu Fenghai is not from Qianji sect, and he stayed here just to repay the favor.

In the book, Yu Fenghai was not here on the day when Qianji sect was destroyed, it is said that he had gone to an appointment.

Yu Fenghai arranged the books on the table next to the gate and put them into the cart: "Qianji sect doesn't have enough spiritual veins, and the last few spiritual veins are almost gone in recent years. It will be very difficult to cultivate in the future."

The advantage is that there are spirit veins to support the cultivation, otherwise it is no different from a casual cultivator who completely relies on spiritual stones.

The realm of self-cultivation is divided into: Qi training, foundation building, Jindan, Nascent Soul, Transforming God, Fusion, Mahayana and finally crossing the catastrophe to become an immortal.

From the very beginning of foundation establishment, spiritual veins need to provide a lot of spiritual energy, so that it is possible to cultivate into jindan. The pitifully thin spiritual veins of Qianji sect can only provide the operation of the sect, and now it is almost impossible for disciples to practice.

Spiritual veins are important resources in the hands of each sect. Even if the level of the master's refining skill can leapfrog to the early stage of Fusion, it is not enough to exchange for spiritual veins.

Because no matter how good a spirit stone is, it is not full of spiritual energy as in a spirit vein, unless there is no shortage of spirit stones.

"Gatekeeper Yu, we will go down the mountain for a trial in three days, and we will visit various sects by the way." Ye Su grinned, "Maybe we will be able to improve our realm when we come back."

Looking at the innocent Ye Su, Yu Fenghai couldn't help shaking his hand holding the book: "..." He was almost the one who witnessed the whole process of Qianji sect degeneration.

He still didn't expect that even the young disciples of Qianji sect were so thick-skinned, sure enough he shouldn't have voted for Zhang Fengfeng back then.

The head of the sect 'leads by example', no wonder the disciple also looks like a dog!

"Go in if you want to read, don't dawdle at the door." Yu Fenghai waved his sleeves indifferently.

Ye Su knew that Gatekeeper Yu's temper was unpredictable, and he didn't care that she took the initiative to talk to him just now, so she walked to the fifth floor.

The first four floors of the Cangdian Pavilion are very orthodox refining books, and the fifth floor is full of letters written by those geniuses more than 500 years ago not just refining weapons.

Refining equipment requires countless materials, and the Qianji sect lack spiritual energy, and the materials are even more pitiful, so Ye Su basically only reads but does not refine, and with her photographic memory in the past ten years she almost read all the books in Cangdian Pavilion.

Now there is only the fifth floor left, and she haven't seen much yet, most of the bookshelves on that floor are the letters of the seniors, and there are many strange descriptions.

For example, in the handbook Ye Su is holding now, it says that before the refining is completed, talismans can be integrated into it. How to integrate it is not written here. Because from the next page, this senior began to complain about his bitterness in his handbook.

【...It's just that I secretly learned some talismans that the Wuhang Sect didn't want, and I also helped them make up for the missing talismans, but they actually want to chase me down? Unreasonable!

Wuhang Sect, one of the five sects of the two faction, is good at talisman. It is strange that this senior went to learn the skills of other sects secretly, It's strange not to be hunted down.

Ye Su continued to turn a page, and the words below became even more chaotic. Hundreds of years later, the anger of the person involved could still be seen.

【baffling! Who doesn't know that those talisman scriptures are not wanted by the Wuhang Sect, and they are passed on to outsiders. The talisman scriptures I bought at the stall are better than their sect, can you blame me?  alas, I can only give them the refined jade token as compensation.

Ye Su frowned, it turned out that it wasn't stealing. This senior was most likely bluffed by the people of the Wuhang Sect.

Most of the cheat books bought and sold on the stalls are fake, and even if they are genuine, they are just the exercises abandoned by inner sects, even disciples of outer sects would not take a look at.

Ye Su flipped back, and found that the back of the book was full of illustrations of a black jade card, mixed with various symbol of a talisman.

This talisman is a low-level speed talisman. It was originally just a tasteless talisman. After using it, it can only travel a few miles. It is useless to the people of the Wuhang Sect. They have better talismans. But after being modified by this senior and applied to weapons, the speed talisman suddenly upgrade.

Hang the ink jade card on the body, inject energy, and the movement speed will be quickly increased. The higher the realm, the faster the movement speed. Unlike the talisman paper, which is destroyed once, it can be used forever.

Ye Su squatted on the ground and read the entire manuscript, only to find that this senior modified the original speed talisman several times later.

On the last page, the speed talisman is fully formed, with a postscript below:【Improved version of the speed talisman, universal in realm, valid for fifteen minutes.

It seems that the original version of the speed talisman can only be used by people in the qi training period. As we all know, things such as exercises suitable for foundation building will never flow into the stalls, and no matter how bad they are, they will only appear in a certain pawn shop.

Ye Su put down this book and continued to flip through the next one. She was always a fast reader, and could remember it at a glance. By the time it got dark, she had already finished reading a row of books on the shelf.

When walking out of the Zangdian Pavilion, Ye Su looked at the table next to her, and found that the gatekeeper Yu was not there, and probably went to organize books.

Back to her own residence, that speed talisman always appeared in Ye Su's mind.

In Ye Su's impression, the materials needed for low-level talisman techniques are very simple, a piece of yellow paper, a brush and cinnabar.

She has brushes and cinnabar, as for the yellow paper...

Ye Su got up and walked to the next door, knocked on the door: "Second Junior Brother, are you there?"

After a while, the people inside slowly came out and opened the door: "senior sister."

Ye Su inadvertently saw the package on the table: "Have you prepared your luggage?"

Ming Liusha said slowly: "I, should, bring, more, things, when, I, go, out."

"Didn't you buy a bunch of paper ingots last month, do you have any more? Lend me some." Ye Su asked directly.

The second junior brother is careful in everything he does, but the bad thing is that he skips every word all day long. He used to lie to people that he stuttered, which won the sympathy of many people, especially the third junior sister. In the end, everyone found out that he was actually doing it on purpose. You don't know how fluent it is when he really speak.

The potted flower that Ming Liusha raised died last month. He went to the foot of the mountain to buy a bunch of paper ingots and came back, saying that they were burned for the dead flowers. After he burn the paper ingot on the first day, he was beaten up by the third junior sister.

Because of the window where the Ming Liusha grows flowers was facing the third junior sister's bedroom, when the wind blew, all the burnt paper ingots floated into her room.

"al... right" Ming Liusha turned around slowly, and found a box of flattened paper ingots from under the bed, which was trampled flat by the third junior sister herself, "senior, sister, are, your, flowers,  also, dead?"

In the past two years, the head master got some flowers and plants from someone unknown, and gave each of his disciples a pot.

"The potted flower I raised died last year." Ye Su took a box of paper ingots and turned to leave. If she didn't leave again, she couldn't breathe when listening to the second junior brother talking.

Returning to the room with the paper ingots in her arms, Ye Su walked to the desk, dismantled the paper ingots, cut them into talisman paper shapes, picked up a writing brush, dipped it in cinnabar, and stopped on top of the yellow paper. The handwriting on the last page appeared in her mind again and the talisman diagram was immediately put into writing immediately.

The atmosphere in the room suddenly change, and countless spiritual energy gathered together, poured into the body of the pen, moved along the tip of the pen, and flowed into the talisman paper map.

Ye Su was immersed in the outlining talisman diagram, and did not notice anything unusual.

From the beginning to the end, the strokes were connected smoothly, and the drawing was successfully completed, which was exactly the same as the talisman diagram on the page of the handbook.

Ye Su didn't know about talismans, she had only heard about them and had a little impression, and she didn't even know that there was a saying among talisman masters:

One stroke shakes the world, two strokes startle ghosts and gods, three strokes level the world, and four strokes save the common people.

Not everyone can pick up a pen to connect the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, and then transform it on talisman paper.

Only those who have the talent to connect heaven and earth can start the cultivation path of a talisman master.

……

Seems like that, Ye Su picked up the talisman paper, looked it over carefully, and thought to herself.

But she is self-aware, if the talisman technique is so easy, the talisman master would have run all over the street.

Ye Su shook her head, threw the drawn talisman paper aside, and prepared to go back to bed and meditate.

At this moment, a gust of wind blew up from the open window in front of the desk, gently blowing up the talisman paper and sticking it tightly behind Ye Su's back.

Ye Su, who just turned around and lifted her foot, felt a sudden great force behind her, pushing her forward, completely unable to control herself.

The five direct disciples of Jiuxuan Peak all lived in a row, counting from the room of the senior sister to the end of the room of the junior brother. In the middle of Ye Su's bedroom is the bed, the desk is on the left, and the second junior brother's room is just outside the right wall.

Ye Su, who was stuck on the talisman paper, didn't have time to react, and jumped out in an instant.

'Boom, boom, boom...'

Shit--

She watched helplessly as she slammed into the wall on her right, and finally got stuck on the wall in the junior brother's bedroom.

The walls of the five rooms were all punched out with holes, and they were still in human shape.

Ming Liusha slowly turned his head to look at the holes on both sides of his house, and said slowly, "Why, is, there, a, wind, leak?"

At this time, the third junior sister and fourth junior brother in the room were startled, and they quickly come out. They saw a familiar figure embedded in the wall of the junior brother's room. Halfway through, he turned his head and looked at the person on the wall expressionlessly.

"Senior Sister?" The round-faced boy who arrived at the door first asked the first question, it was the fourth junior brother Xia Er.

Ye Su was already stunned, struggling to get out of the wall, finally pulled out her hands and feet, and her whole head was still inside the wall.

She put her hands on the wall and tried to pull her head out.

"Senior Sister, you have a nosebleed." Xiyu, the girl wearing pink flowers behind Xia Er, pointed at Ye Su's nose and said kindly.

"...Hmm." Ye Su thought, not only did she have a nosebleed, but she also had a broken bone.

However, she didn't have time to say a word, because she fell straight to the ground in the next second, staring at the roof without blinking, and began to doubt the whole world.

At this time, the second junior brother walked slowly to the door of Yi xuan's room, looked at the people on the ground, and asked, "Senior, sister, have, you, lost, your, temper?"

"Your senior sister is dead." Ye Su smelled blood when she opened her mouth.

Fourth Junior Brother Xia Er came over and helped Ye Su up: "Senior sister, are you alright?"

"It's okay." Ye Su wiped her face, the blood was getting worse, she didn't use her hands at all, she lifted up her robe and wiped it, "I will repaired the room for you tomorrow, I'll go back to heal first."

Ye Su limped out of Yi Xuan's room.

At this moment, Yi Xuan had already pulled up his coat, and he stepped forward to pick up a half-burnt talisman paper from the ground, and asked her, "What is this?"

Ye Su looked back at the corner of the familiar talisman, and finally understood what happened: "...the talisman I drawn."

"Amulet paper?" Xia Er leaned over and asked interestedly, "Senior sister, where did you get the spirit stone to buy the talisman paper?"

The poorest person in the entire sect is the senior sister.

"Why is there a footprint on this talisman paper?" Xiyu looked at the back of half of the talisman paper and felt that the footprints were very familiar.

The second junior brother Ming Liusha took a look: "This, is, the, paper, ingot, that, the, third, junior, sister, trampled, on."

Several people in the room looked at each other blankly, and finally set their eyes on Ye Su, waiting for an explanation.

Ye Su coughed and admitted: "...I didn't buy it, I drew the talisman."

"Elder Sister, you  can still draw talismans?" As the person who admired Ye Su the most in the entire Jiuxuan Peak, Xia Er's eyes suddenly showed admiration.

"I saw it in a handbook in the Cangdian Pavilion, and I drew it casually." Ye Su tried to touch her nose, hissed with pain, and immediately put down her hand, "I'll go back first, and you all should rest early."

"Take your things away." Yi Xuan threw the talisman paper at her expressionlessly.

Ye Su stretched out two fingers sideways, and instantly caught the flying talisman: "Don't worry, I will help you patch up the wall tomorrow morning."
